First Piece Of One Thousand Museum’s Exoskeleton Now Being Assembled

At Zaha Hadid’s One Thousand Museum, a mock-up of the exoskeletion has arrived from Dubai.

The outer shell of the building is being manufactured out of glass-fiber reinforced concrete:

This building is the poster for the excess and waste this latest bubble has created. Shipping half way across the world structure for this building which is built in the middle of a desert without any natural resources? Historians will look back and ask what were these people thinking.

The façade from Dubai isn’t part of the main structure of the building. It’s just a cladding.
