Gateway at Wynwood Proposed Across From Midtown With Retail & Office

A mixed-use project called Gateway at Wynwood is planned across from the stalled Walmart site in Midtown Miami.

The proposal includes:

  • 12-stories, totaling 464,700-square-feet of space
  • 184,300 square feet of office space
  • 33,750 square feet of ground floor commercial/retail space
  • 574 parking spaces

The project is scheduled for review by Miami’s Urban Development Review Board at a meeting today (3/15.)

2994 NMA Gateway Properties LLC, an affiliate of Aron Rosenberg’s New York based R&B Realty is the developer.

Kobi Karp is the architect.

Such a shame they are making the same mistakes with the ridiculous amount of parking being added to each project in Wynwood.

Most Miami folks drive their cars to Wynwood and need parking.. but you probably already knew that.

I’m sorry but I have to agree. They shouldn’t be adding so much parking. The area should be strictly walkable. Miami Beach limits parking and not only it’s the best looking area in the county, but it’s the most dense, walkable, and people still manage to be there

>limits parking

>tourists circle around, stop in the middle of streets and create traffic trying to find parking

>success!

all one for an actual transit plan, but miami beach is hardly a stellar example of a true walkable/transitable metropolitan

What’s wrong with parkings?

184,300 square feet of office space

Do you really expect no parking with that office space?

Hmmm not sure if you actually looked at the plans posted but the ground floor is mostly retail…….Do just a little bit of research before commenting.
