Miami Central Station and its accompanying transportation infrastructure may well turn out to be the most important development to occur in downtown Miami in generations. This is especially true when one considers the much-anticipated Tri Rail coastal link part of the project.
The proposed Coastal Link is what I most look forward to. Being able do go to so many places and do so many things up and down the Biscayne corridor as well as go to downtown Fort Lauderdale and its airport without driving or paying for a taxi/uber is what I’m most looking forward to.
Exciting as always.
does this include mean that the building it is 1,000 feet high is also beginning construction?
No. That lot is currently being used for staging and parking. The supertall is not part of the station.
Do you know which lot is that ? (the 1000 footer) Is it behind the station? or next to it ? Curious.
The lot furthest south.
