The owner of a small plat of land that is surrounded by the Cite condo complex could be planning a development.
Platinum Edge LLC purchased a 7,875 square foot property at 348 Northeast 20 Terrace in 2015 for $1.4 million. The company lists an address in Tennessee.
The company is now requesting that the city vacate a small alley behind their property. The alley is unpaved and not connected to city streets.
A city memo states that the company wishes to create a unified development site by adding the alley. The alley is 15 feet in width by 75 feet in length, which could add 1,125 feet to the developer’s property.
Miami’s Planning, Zoning and Appeals Board will vote on the alley vacation at a meeting on January 18.
