    Representatives of the Miami World Center group, which includes Art Falcone and Nitin Mitwani, declined to comment, a spokeswoman said. Marriott spokesman John Wolf said Tuesday: “We are always interested in development opportunities. It would be premature to comment any further.”

    MDM (developer of Met 1, 2 and 3) has a contract to purchase the land and plans to build an enormous convention hotel as shown in the renderings.

    It will be connected to the new All Aboard Florida grand central station.

    In addition, Miami Worldcenter will be moving forward with plans to build on their site.

    -Huge convention space, still smaller than Miami Beach convention center

    -Direct access to trains from inside the hotel/convention center
