Texas Developers Plan 413 Apartments Across From Dadeland, Demolishing TigerDirect (Updated)

A partnership between The Morgan Group of Houston and Invesco Real Estate of Dallas is planning a 412-unit apartment complex across from Dadeland Mall.

The project will be known as The Pearl at Dadeland. It is a sister property to The Pearl at Flagler Village, a 331-unit project under construction in Fort Lauderdale.

The partnership bought the property in September 2013 for $20 million. A TigerDirect (formerly CompUSA) on the site has already closed and will be demolished.
