Buyers at the 41-story Hyde Resort & Residences Hollywood have been quickly closing on their units since the project opened in January..
In the first month since opening, over 120 buyers closed on units, according to Related Group president Carlos Rosso.
The project includes 407 units, with 367 condo-hotel units (restricted to 150 nights per year of residence) and 40 condo units.
Brazilian architect Debora Aguiar designed the lobby, restaurant, and oceanfront gym. Aguiar also designed interiors at the 1 hotel South Beach.
The new owners are able to earn income by placing the units into a hotel pool, and Rosso said that the units are renting very well. Suites are going on Expedia for $550 a night.
Construction is now underway on the 42-story Hyde Beach House across the street. It will include 265 condo-hotel units with the same hotel pool concept, along with 77 condo units.
