174-Unit Cassia Breaks Ground In Coral Gables

A groundbreaking ceremony has taken place in Coral Gables for the Cassia condominium development.

Cassia will rise 12 stories, and is being designed by architect Behar Font & Partners.

The building will be located adjacent to Merrick Park.

There will be 174 condos that will be delivered furnished. Units will have European appliances, RH furnishings, and Italian cabinetry by Italkraft. IDDI is designing the amenities.

Units range from one to three bedrooms, or 662 to 1461 square feet. Prices start from $700,000.

Alta Developers is the developer.

The interior looks very elegant, but the exterior looks like any old box. Also clashes with the whole coral gables aesthetic

Poor design for Coral gables.

This would be a fantastic project in Miami. I feel like Coral Gables tends to have a bit better standard for design

“A bit better?” How about light years ahead… and no it’s not just Mediterranean Revival. It’s everything that makes good architecture.

$700k+ for 662 sq feet miles from the beach👌😂🤦‍♂️

B-b-b-but it’s got Euro appliances and Italian cabinets and fine Corinthian leather —-all which will be worn and worthless a decade from now, but yet the tiny 662 sq feet (studio size really) will still remain.

Disappointing, between this and the senior living on the other end. This block was supposed to be The Collection Residences before Ugo and Masoud got in their big fight
