195-Unit District 36 Begins Leasing Retail Space Across From Midtown Miami

Wharton Equity Partners and and Mack Real Estate Group continue to move forward with plans to build a mixed-use project called District 36 across from Midtown Miami.

Earlier this month, the developers closed on the purchase of 107,000 square feet of development rights from the owner of the Bayside Motor Inn at 5101 Biscayne Boulevard. Those rights were transferred to the District 36 property at 3635 NE 1st Avenue, which sits next to I-195 across from Midtown Miami.

Also this month, Comras Company began leasing of the retail and restaurant space earlier this month.

The developers are planning a mixed-use project with 195 apartment units, 4,995 square feet of restaurant space, and 58,951 square feet of retail space. The architect is ADD Inc.
