Love this building. This should be the replica for more low-rise apartments throughout the city.

Agree!

And for Brickell Ave specifically. There are plenty more older apt complexes on this street that need to be redeveloped.

Also Park Avenue (SW2nd) is being totally redeveloped and could be planed to be even nicer than historical Brickell Avenue.

Yes, more apartments on SW 2nd Ave, right next to the StorageMart and the Chevron gas station will make SW 2nd Avenue even nicer than “historical” Brickell Avenue.

By “historical” do you mean the bayfront Brickell Park, the Miami Circle Park, etc?

Yes, indeed. SW 2nd Ave is on it’s way!

Chill Sven. I know you are vested in Brickell Ave and I didn’t say it was bad. Just saying there’s room for another Avenue and something better in Brickell

It should have floor space for commercial/retail but otherwise yes I agree

It’s outside the urban core so no commercial/retail allowed here

I forgot those outside the urban core don’t buy stuff. If the idea is to have more of these “throughout the city” then it only makes sense to include commercial for those living there. Your argument is like saying “why would you build a Walmart in a suburb? It’s outside the major city!”

This is a beautiful building! I mean it’s coded and zoned to be outside the core because commercial/retail is not allowed.

Zoning wasn’t set by God, it can and should be amended for the changing urban landscape

If they are going to change the zoning here they should change the zoning in Riverside just west of I95

Maybe now as long and a bit taller and articulating, however.

Now this is a proper building. No visible garage, good architecture, good height.

I just wished we could have 100 of these buildings being built all over the city

Very nice low rise development. Definitely will help bring more identity to this part of Brickell

More retail and commercial development will really help as well

Zoning doesn’t allow for retail and restaurants south of 15th, which is why this area is a residential area right outside the core.

Lovely building yes, but seems a bit too long. The massing should have been broken up, otherwise it looks like a one of those new shoebox buildings on Washington Avenue.

The roof is what all the public parks should look like in the Urban Core.

This is beautiful. And with prices starting at $1M, these are relatively attainable compared to many other luxury properties in the pipeline right now. Glad to see it.

Gym kind of sucks. Need for free weights and less treadmills.

LOL In case you are confused, this isn’t the actual gym, it’s a representation of the space, they aren’t required to or going to put these exact pieces of equipment in these exact spots in the finished product. When you buy a condo represented in a sales brochure, you also aren’t required to use the furniture shown.
