30% Of Units At The Standard Residences In Midtown Miami Reserved In A Week, Groundbreaking Mid-2022

Strong demand is being reported for the newly announced condos at The Standard Residences in Midtown Miami.

According to developer Carlos Rosso, there are already reservations for 30% of The Standard’s 228 units.

The 30% sales milestone was hit in just one week, Rosso said.

A launch party for the project was held earlier this week.

Rosso said Miami is continuing to grow in a trend that began as a result of Covid-19.

Residents from the Northeast, California and other high tax areas continue to flock to Miami, and more companies are continuing to sign new leases here and add to the office base, he said.

“Office rents are higher, companies are hiring more talent, the salary base keeps growing – all great signs of growth for residential development,” he added.

The Standard Residences is planned to include:

  • 228 residences
  • rooftop restaurant and bar
  • 34,000 square feet of amenity/social space
  • 10,000 square feet of retail
  • Direct access to an adjacent 1,200-space parking garage

The project’s unique amenities will include an infrared sauna, karaoke room, dog spa, and pickleball court with disco lights, according to Standard International’s Amar Lalvani.

Construction is planned for mid-2022, with completion by December 2023.

This project will be a great addition to midtown! Add a good amount of residents without additional parking lol Now we just need to monorail/metromover in Midtown and Beyond

That former walmart owned lot would be a perfect metromover station and a walking path the proposed 29th st brightline/tri rail station.

Yes, I would love to walk under all the Metromover flyovers ruining the streets and becoming homeless magnets.

A mass transit system connecting the Upper East Side corridor is a must!!!

They need to build a metro line above the fec train tracks all the way to aventura

Coastal Link, it’s a thing and you don’t need to build another track above an existing one which was only recently doubled. If that were the case, Brightline would be actual HSR on the elevated track.

A commuter train is not rapid transit. Not fat enough headway and not nearly enough stations

Love the project design that is achieved by not having an ugly parking podium. Those first five floors with the different exterior texture looks wonderful.

I live in midtown and this is a great infill, just hope they put a uber pick up sign next to the current parallel parking spaces for the ubers wouldn’t be clogging up this street with trader joes, sugar cane and a need pizza bar all on the same intersection.

No parking? No parking included in the building? And no public transportation anywhere close by. Who wants a condo with no parking?

there is a parking garage behind it and most of these people will be ubering and walking
