Yet another tower appears to be in the works adjacent to the Virgin Trains (formerly Brightline) MiamiCentral hub.
Meyers Group is planning Avery Miami Central at the corner of Northwest Sixth Street and Second Avenue, according to their website.
The tower will rise 35 stories. 300 luxury residences will be offered for rent at market rates, the website states.
MiamiCentral has ignited development in the area, with new projects planned on properties surrounding the Avery site in nearly every direction.
Next door is the former Logik and Krystal Tower site, where BH Group is planning a 32-story apartment and office tower.
Across the street is 3 Miami Central, with a Publix about to begin construction, while the main MiamiCentral hub with retail, food hall, office and train stations is one block away.
On the opposite corner of the Avery site is the Sawyer Landing property, where Swerdlow Group is planning a massive mixed-use development including 506 apartments, 290,000 square feet of retail, and multiple levels of office and parking.
