375-Foot-Crane Set To Be Installed At Soleste NoMi Beach Site After Developer Gets Financing

Plans have been filed to install a tower crane that will assist with vertical construction of the 21-story Soleste NoMi Beach.

Developer The Estate Companies also obtained a $76 million construction loan for the project from Bank OZK in May.

According to a filing with the FAA, the tower crane will rise 375 feet above ground, or 386 feet above sea level at 16395 Biscayne Boulevard.

A tentative construction schedule lists an August 1 installation date for the crane.

Soleste NoMi Beach is planned as a Class-A apartment project, the developer says. It will include:

  • 367 apartments
  • 2,708 square feet of commercial space
  • 655 parking spaces

The Brightline tracks are across the street. However, no new stations are planned at 163rd street. Instead, a northeast corridor commuter rail station is tentatively planned across from FIU Biscayne at 151st Street. There is also another station under construction at 196th Street in Aventura with both Brightline intercity service and local commuter rail service.

Form Group is the architect for Soleste.
