In Hallandale Beach, the 38-story 2000 Ocean tower is now beginning vertical construction after completing a foundation pour.
Suffolk Construction handled the 13-hour pour, which began at 2:00AM on June 29 and lasted until 3:00PM. The pour required 240 concrete trucks and 500 tons of steel and marked one of the largest cement pours of the last decade in Hallandale Beach.
When complete, the tower will include 64 condo residences offering residents a resort-style living experience.
New York-based KAR Properties is the developer. TEN Arquitectos is the architect, with concept design by Kobi Karp.
