$4 Billion SoLeMia Set To Break Ground; Warren Henry Car Dealership Is First Tenant

Turnberry Associates and the LeFrak Organization are breaking ground today on the project formerly known as Biscayne Landing.

The developers have also announced their first tenant: A Warren Henry car dealership. Other tenants will include a gourmet supermarket and high-end cinema.

Turnberry has experience with similar retail projects. In Las Vegas, the developer partnered to build Town Square, which features an enormous Whole Foods market and an AMC movie theater as part of about 1.5 million square feet of retail space. SoLeMia will eventually include about 1 million square feet of retail, along with 4,390 residential units.

A new rendering of the project’s lagoon has also been released. It shows a crowd of seemingly normal, healthy residents enjoying the water on the former Superfund site.
