40-Story 501 First Already Out Of The Ground

Contractor’s building Downtown Miami’s 501 First tower are already working on the second floor, according to photos by Ryan RC Rea.

A groundbreaking ceremony took place last December, with a foundation pour last month.

The 40-story tower is being built without a parking garage.

It will include 448 residential condos allowing short-term rental and 3,198 square feet of retail.

The ground level is being designed with wide sidewalks and greenery to provide shade and a usable pedestrian space.

Revuelta is the architect.

Aria Development Group and Aqarat are the developers.

Who is “park west” and are they planning with public money? Our leaders should be the ones planning.

So excited for Brickell and Downtown to finish on west sides, Miami is going to have the best core when these areas are done, and feel more like a worldclass city with utilized metro stops.

Except nobody who will live in this building will give up their car for the electric beer can, parking in the surrounded garages instead.
