555 River House Breaking Ground January 2020, Condos Will Be Ultra Luxury

Developer Avra Jain has revealed more details of the 555 River House in an an interview with the SFBJ.

Groundbreaking is planned for January 2020, she said.

Most of the project will be hotel and office. Residential condos likely won’t be sold before groundbreaking, Jain added.

Sixty Hotels of New York will manage the 175 hotel rooms and brand the condo units.

Eventually, the condos will be sold at prices averaging $1,150 per square feet, or $1 million to $1.5 million. Residents will have access to amenities from the hotel.

Who would buy a $1.5 million condo in Little Havana? For those prices I’d buy in Brickell or Downtown.

Anonymous

was exactly my thought…nice building, but the neighborhood is kind of a dump.

Spring garden is across the river which is a expansive area and this project is on the river which is becoming more active with other developments.

I get that but when developers are having trouble finishing selling their luxury condos in downtown, brickell, and the beach, what makes you think buyers will spend $1.5 million on a condo in Little Havana? For that money I can buy a condo on Biscayne Blvd. and keep my boat at the Bayside marina and it might still be cheaper.

Its also next Jackson Hospital and sometimes people with deep pockets like to spread out for they could brag about the new area they live in.

across the river you already have apts that cost $1mm

People living here most likely will be doctors from JMH. No traffic!

You’re really pushing this, it’s not catching bud

just come back to this article when all the units are sold before completion. 😎

> condos at…$1,150 per square feet

LOL, good luck with that. Swire can’t even get anything close to that in City Centre!

did you forget that Jackson Memorial Hospital is a mile away? + no traffic. This development will sell out fast.

LOL

William

I agree. Those prices are to high. Not in line with the location, amenities or anything else.

Riverside = the next Upper East Side Biscayne.

Riverside=The Upper East Side Biscayne, that never happened because the stupid 35 feet height construction restriction imposed by Elvis Cruz and the segregated MorningSide Civic Association.

Averaging $1,150 per SQFT…. Jesus.

I wonder if it’ll include a rooftop restaurant plus bar/club?

Ouch!!

So much for slowly pulling back from the ever rising water as was recommended by the Miami Climate Adaptation and Resilience plan released today at City hall. Oh well it’s the hype that counts in Miami.

Azarius

That’s the reason why they are waiting to sell condos they are going to start building and wait for other projects to launch to JACK UP the condo pricing… this is the worst!!!! IDC how much money they look to make this is wrong !
