56-Story Casa Bella More Than Halfway Up

The Casa Bella Residences by B&B Italia tower is now more than halfway up.

Contractors were scheduled to pour the 30th floor of the building this week, according to a social media post by Director of Sales Olga Monson.

The building’s parking garage is scheduled to be completed at the end of this month.

Top off of the tower at 56 stories is scheduled for summer of this year.

Groundbreaking took place in November 2023, with a foundation pour in May 2024.

Casa Bella Residences by B&B Italia is planned to include 319 condos, along with amenities, including a 56th floor rooftop pool and terrace.

Related Group is developing the tower in partnership with Alta Developers.

Arquitectonica is the architect, with Coastal Construction Group the contractor.

I hope this building helps activate the immediate area. There is no commercial or retail space of any interest whatsoever, and so close to the Arsht.

The whole area is a mess. It wont start to pick up till after the bridge and park are done – it’s just one giant construction site at the moment.

I’d rather lose that view than have a view of an abandoned shopping mall.

They should really try to make this area the entertainment district. There are a ton of lots to be creative and do more than Uber luxury high rise condos for every parcel. Build another theatre, attract more shows, create a commercial section with restaurants and live music bars. A Music Museum maybe in Miami music history could be a cool and fitting exhibit too. It already has the Adrienne Arsht Center and the museums to start with

Well that was the purpose and intent of the why the area is called the ARTS & ENTERTAINMENT District. Some good plans were on the table until about ten years ago after some internal power struggles. Then Melo came and built a bunch of boxes on the prime land, and Genting backed off.

I know it’s called it the Arts & Entertainment District. I left out the arts piece because Wynwood has kind of taken that name for itself. But a entertainment/theatre district is still needed. What was the name for those plans? It might look different but they should be revived. There are still plenty of empty lots and it would take forever to fill with giant Melo boxes. A more charming lower scale entertainment district makes more sense here between Downtown and Edgewater/Wynwood

Oh, darling, these labels are so last season, they’re all so literal and unhelpful—most people don’t even know which way is east or west on a map. And now this.c “Art and Entertainment”? Sounds like that old TV channel nobody watched. Let’s spice things up with “ACE District”—Art, Culture, and Entertainment. Now that’s got some flair!

The postcard views of the new Miami will be insane from this building. You’ve got the spider bridge just in front of it, with the skyline, seaport, bay and ocean at your feet . Even when the old Miami Herald site is developed the views from this tower will be amazing!

There is a large portion of the land left empty, will there be a second tower there?

What’s wrong, you can’t afford to live or develop near the metro mover? Don’t hate it bc it’s out of your league.
