57-story Casa Bella by B&B Italia Reaches Major Milestone: 60% Sold

The 57-story Casa Bella by B&B Italia planned on Biscayne Boulevard has just hit an important sales number.

Olga Monson, a sales director for the condo tower, said that 60% of units have now been sold.

Groundbreaking is expected at the end of the year, Monson said. The developer previously said completion is scheduled for 2025.

Sales for the project just launched at the end of last year.

Casa Bella will include 312 condo units with private elevators and a rooftop pool and observatory.

Alta Developers and Related Group are the developers.

Architecture is by Arquitectonica, with interiors by Piero Lissoni. Enzo Enea is handling landscape design.

that may not happen….there seems to be problem with the city and developer and school board that appears to be serious enough to derail it

I was thinking more about a casino complex going up on the Herald site.

What casino? Genting bough the lot 8 years ago and nothing has ever materialized because the gambling rights will be never be approved in this area. It is now for sale for $2B dollars from what I heard.

im glad to see sales so strong….its a nice looking building and will look great when its part of the ever expanding skyline…only bad part is melody as a neighbor…..

I went to check it out. All of the units are facing east. Melody is in the back. What does it have to do with the building at all?

“Observatory”? That’s strange!

“Architecture is by Arquitectonica”

How come I”m not surprised?

As soon as I saw the renderings I knew it was Arquitectonica. Same old, same old!!!

It’s a gorgeous design. Architectonica may not be a diverse design in Miami but it surely has defined our skyline and like you say, you knew it was them. Well, when people see our skyline, they immediately know it’s Miami.

Shesshh!.. Aquitectonica need to hire some new blood.

Anonymous

They need to hire blood that didn’t go to a third-rate architecture school and forget there are more shapes than squares and rectangles.

Arquitectonica is great! Especially when you have a big budget.

Awful when it’s Related, however.

Maybe forty years ago to the last boom, but to say Arquitectonica defined Miami’s skyline, especially with cereal box after cereal box in the last ten years is a laughable overstatement.

Elysee, Regalia, and plenty of others are not cereal boxes…
Arquitectonica does excellent work

Wrong adjective to use here in Miami. So midwestern to say something is cheesy.
In Miami when something is cheesy, it brings to mind food. Cheese is good.

Cheesy comment.

What’s cheesy about the name? I think it’s a nice change to have a building with an Italian-language name.

I mean, the previous name was “Auberge” which is French. Better than “Lofty” or “X” any day.

Actually, I welcome any and I mean, any development around the Arscht Center.
That place is horrible. Everything around it is boarded up or a total wasteland of empty, derelict blocks.

Are they going to buy out the Melody Tower and knock it down? These renderings should be considered false advertisement.

Wonderful , keep building in city of Miami , sky is the limit, but keep the forests and swamps and open beaches in Florida pristine. Sprawl destroys nature.
