57-Story Missoni Baia Gets TCO In Edgewater

The 57-story Missoni Baia tower has received a Temporary Certificate of Occupancy.

Arlyz Morales, part of the in-house sales team for the development, posted on Instagram last week that a TCO had been issued. “Let the closings begin,” Morales wrote.

As of this morning, no closing are showing yet in Miami-Dade records, but there is typically a lag between closings and recording.

A groundbreaking ceremony for the tower was held in October 2017, with an event that included a scantily clad saxophonist on a flyboard.

A foundation pour for the tower took place in January 2020.

Top-off of the tower took place in July 2021.

The tower was built at a height of 646 feet above ground, or 649 feet above sea level.

Asymptote is the architect.

OKO Group and Cain International are the developers.

If you noticed during construction they had to remove the south glass facade to reduce the weight

If it was quality, it wouldn’t be a box and they wouldn’t have pitched it with a saxophonist strapped to a water jetpack.

wow went there yesterday on a long walk and so disappointing! Its all glare and white odd stone that is already showing signs of water damage….. no life no greenery…. super disappointed as I thought it was a striking design from a distance

Which box, the residential tower, or parking garage taking up the span of the rest of the block?

True but round buildings and spires are the best
