65-Story E11EVEN Hotel & Residences Now Has A Groundbreaking Date: 11/11

A groundbreaking date is now set for E11EVEN Hotel & Residences.

The 65-story tower will break ground on November 11, 2021, according to a social media post from developer PMG.

The tower is now 98% sold, the developer said.

Records show that plans were submitted yesterday for a demolition permit to clear the site, and those plans are now in review. The demo permit was first applied for in September.

John Moriarty & Associates is listed as the demolition contractor

There does not yet appear to be a pending construction permit.

FAA height approval for the 709-foot tower was issued in September.

E11EVEN became one of the fastest selling condo buildings in Miami’s history earlier this year.

I love how serious the developer is! This will be a great addition to our growing skyline!

They haven’t applied for a master permit on the site, that’s not serious.

It will take them 6 months to clear public works comments. But, sure, they’re serious. Serious at announcing buzz.

With 98% units sold, they have no choice but to be serious.

I drive through the area going into south beach and did notice that they are already cleaning the area yesterday, so I think this is happening sooner than later.

Obviously, they’re cleaning up the area for the winter season to counteract spring.

Some sources say this won’t start for a while. This ain’t Melo.
Building is sold out but developer is having issues with contractor and labor issues

Love this project and can’t wait for the launch of the second tower. Hope they offer something a little different than the first. All in all this will be a great addition to the growing skyline

Wow. Looks like this is definitely happening. The impact 11 and Okan will have on this neighborhood can not be understated. Amazing.

That’s because they give us height in the middle of downtown not just on the water

Okan is in an different neighborhood, but whatever. Certainly they will have an impact on the skyline.

TNM is finally stepping up and so is downtown! Once all these buildings will be up, downtown will be lit!! Literally.

Great looking project (outside of the big freaky poolside sculpture) —love all the glass and balcony space

Hopefully the rest of those warehouse clubs get demolished soon. It’s been a fun ride. But it’s time to transform the area.

Love the artsy poolside sculpture. For those with taste. But……where’s the ocean? They’ll hear that more than once.

Anonymous

Taste? It’s the same sculpture as in front of the Papaya Playa Project in Tulum. Unoriginal Manufactured Corporate Art.

That sculpture is a commodity. There’s another one in Fort Lauderdale. Was hoping for something bespoke and original for this building.

O.K. arty farty. Let’s see your “bespoke and original” Entartete Kunst.
