659-Unit West Eleventh Residences Submitted To FAA, Demolition Permits Filed

An application has been submitted to the Federal Aviation Administration requesting height approval for a tower in Park West.

The FAA application is for a site where the 44-story West Eleventh Residences is planned.

The tower is planned to rise 482 feet above ground, or 493 feet above sea level, the FAA application states.

The application was submitted March 6.

Demolition permits for the West Eleventh Residences property were also applied for on February 22, Miami Building Department records show.

West Eleventh Residences is planned to include 639 residential condo units, along with a 30,000 square foot tri-level “experiential” entertainment and food hall.

Condo sales for the project launched February 20.

Sieger Suarez is the architect.

PMG, Michael Simkins’ Lion Development Group, and Marc Roberts Companies are the developers.

We already have. For every Aston Martin or Paramount, we get eleven boring boxes.

Curious what it costs to get FAA approval? This seems like a scam to me. Like a zoning map, it should be a relatively simple process to map out maximum heights based on locations. Maybe I am oversimplifying it?

It is simple but glassy. Can’t believe that it’s less than 500 ft. tall. Looks soon much taller. Great infill.

Miami is going to need a new place for nightlife. The residents here are going to complain about the noise. Miami beach also just announced that they’re not allowing alcohol sales after 2am. I can already foresee noise complaints in wynwood as well. We need something like 6th street in Austin. Only bars, nightclubs, and restaurants, maybe some retail, pedestrian only, no traffic, etc.

no one buying in these buildings on 11th are worried about noise…….

Incorrect – you will have people moving from all over the US that don’t realize that 11th street has places like Space. Most of the residents around Space want them to adhere to noise ordinances or be shut down. Unless you’re from the area (which most residents are not) they are surprised by the walk of shame that occurs regularly between 6-9 am with people littering the area and public urinatiion.

I’ve taken the Virtual Reality headset tour, and looked at the marketing material. There certainly no promise tranquility.

Hope so. Miami has 1 of the best 24 hrs. party districts. I hope all these new residents will adhere to that.

I get where you’re coming from, that’s late for me, but it’s the 24/7 nightlife district in Miami.

It’s horrible how all these new residents want to pretend to be urban, but sadly, move in here and destroy a perfect urban fabric. So sad.

This is in the Arts and Entertainment District so everyone will love it and want even more of it!

Lol the people buying condos in these building are aware of the nightclubs, and probably consider them a pro, not a con.

Austin streets are full of nuts doing donuts derbys and the police have given up. A little piece of Commiefornia in the heart of Texas.

L M A O there is literally an entire Youtube channel devoted to Austin 6th street fights and a local Austin TV station had a story on whether 6th st Austin is the most dangerous place in all of giant Texas.

That’s called a statue. When statues are visible to the public we call them “public art”
