75-Story Baccarat Residences In Brickell Scheduled To Break Ground In Q1 2022

The developer of Miami’s 75-story Baccarat Residences has released a groundbreaking date.

Construction will begin in the first quarter of 2022, according to a schedule released by developer Related Group.

It will become the most luxurious product ever built by Related, company founder Jorge Perez said last week.

Reservations are underway this month for condo units, brokers say.

In September, reservations will be converted into contracts.

Following the Q1 2022 groundbreaking, the project is expected to reach the 12th floor amenity pool deck by spring 2023.

The 75th floor tower top off is expected in fall of 2024.

Completion is expected in fall of 2025.

“most luxurious project” with a perfect sightline possible for anyone entering river and they go with a recycled design from TRASHQUITECTONICA

most people even who lived in NYC or dubai still marvel at Miami’s skyline. Yall are just haters with unrealistic expectations and if every building looked extra it would also cost most to buy and rent and yall would still complain.

Nobody from Dubai is marveling at Miami’s skyline. If anything, they are marveling at the lack of architecture, recycled glass with massive amounts of poorly maintained stucco, lack of roof designs, crappy lighting schemes, and awful entries.

Emaar and DAMAC properties run circles around Related.

Most of those Dubai skyscrapers are empty, or half fool.

Anonymous

This pretty much proves the point, oddly enough.

Rich people are spending their money in Dubai, NYC and Aventura on architecturally significant properties.

Anonymous

Aventura?

Anonymous

Aventura is so over-rated. Horrible traffic and no walkability

Anonymous

it has plenty of walkability and has the three mile aventura circle. Sunny isle is the one that isnt walkable

Anonymous

sunny isles is not pedestrian friendly but people still walk, there is a lot of foot traffic on collins ave

Anonymous

And a lot of walking on the beach.
More walkability on the Beach in Sunny Isles Beach, than on the Aventura Beach. Oh, wait….

It’s walkable from certain buildings; calling it plenty is a stretch. Good value in Aventura.

“Aventura is so over-rated. Horrible traffic and no walkability”

And that can only mean that a lot of people who live, socialize, and frequent there, don’t hold your premise.

Where did you get that information? Dubai is going through another massive building boom with architecture that stuns in every corner.

Anonymous

they are because they mostly have balconies here and people actually live in our buildings. again until you want higher prices we wouldnt get extra looking buildings. you will complain anyways.

Dubai’s towering skyscrapers are built by a horrifically exploitative labor system. Which allows them to build larger and spend the money on different areas to make the buildings more iconic. You can’t do that in America. Once again this site shows me that their are so many commentators that no zero about construction and labor cost. Please educate yourself, if your going to comment in a real estate forum

100% accurate!

Wtf?

exactly and those dubai building are only meant for the ultra wealthy. At least melo, PMG and sometimes related build buildings for the masses.

I will never understand. Why build so many beautiful buildings and the walkability score sucks?

Anonymous

The walkability score at 4th & Brickell sucks?
People need to recalculate that score or learn how to walk.

Anonymous

“learn how to walk”

lol… I had to give you a thumb up for that.

Anonymous

you don’t know if they have more talent to construct buildings than related. it’s a lot cheaper to build in dubai than to build in miami so that gives them a big edge and on top of that they get government subsidies to build those spectacular skyscrapers. i don’t think is a fair comparison

Anonymous

Is that a joke? Get real son. Marveling at Miami’s skyline…hahhaa. This is not a skyline that impresses from all angles…there is at most 2 angles from which you can, decievingly, get a picture that makes it LOOK robust. Thanks to Biscayne Bay forcing everyone to take the same pic. It is a lying skyline if you wanna know the truth.

Look, don’t push it, Related took three towers designed by Aquitectonica down to one.. so breath a sigh of relief for that.

Anonymous

Will they release the renderings of the other towers? I’d hate to wait until 2025 to move in only to have the two other towers in front of me start construction.

Anonymous

Imagine paying $1MM for your unit and then having dust and construction for the next 4-5 years right in your face after you move in.

Anonymous

Okay, I did it! I imagined paying $1M for my unit in Baccarat where I can walk to the building across the street to Cipriani, or over the bridge in Zuma, or two blocks to my office, or 12 blocks along the waterfront to a Heat game.
Then I imagined a life where I can only imagine the most minute problems all day…I imagine a life…in the suburbs….

Anonymous

Let’s be real, you’re not going to walk to a heat game. You’re going to either Uber Lux or drive your luxury car there. En que cabeza cabe un millonario is going to make that miserable walk in Miami’s humidity. Laughable.

Anonymous

It doesn’t matter how many times you say that because these dummies will keep asking the same question.

Anonymous

Nice how they’re not showing the other two towers that will block views from this tower! Buyers beware…

Anonymous

Is it just me or do all Related projects have that same wavy balcony pattern?

Anonymous

Yes, because Architrashtonica is recycling the same design while changing the dance on the balconies; but basically the same square cigarette box give or take a few floors. It’s pathetic

Anonymous

Every time I say something about Arquitectonica, it’s perceived as negative and my comments get a million thumb down votes. But what you wrote is spot on!

If you looked more deeply, you’d find that Arq. has variety.
Elysee is significantly different from SLSLux.
Layman will look at Brickell Heights and SLSLux and say that they are the same, but look more deeply and you will see that inside the (rounded) cigarette box, they are VERY different in design. For instance SLSLux has the pool, spa, barbeque, tennis, golf, etc. On the 9th floor, more amenities in the 45th &46th floors, and barbeque, Jacuzzi, & pool on the 58th floor roof.
Elevators in SLSLux go to private foyers, in BH you walk down long hallways from the elevator/core.

Arquitectontica is preferred by many developers for a good reason.

Anonymous

“but look more deeply”

If you can’t see an obvious difference with just a casual glance, then all that building attire really means something that comes with it.

Anonymous

Related is also facing multiple lawsuits from both Brickell Heights and SLS Lux from building defects, go figure. Not to mention they completely cheaped out on elevators. They break down every other day in both buildings.

Anonymous

“Is it just me or do all Related projects have that same wavy balcony pattern?”

Nope, it’s not just you and your eyes ain’t lying.

Anonymous

Neither.
It’s not just you.
No, not all Related projects have wavy balcony patterns.

You guys talk about Dubai this and Dubai that. But Dubai is one of the most unwalkable cities on the planet. Also the architecture is the tackiest of the tacky. They have a couple interesting buildings and that is it.

In total 1,400 residential units are planned, along with a 250-room hotel, retail, office and parking…what a BIG F!#$ nightmare for an area that’s suffering daily with horrible traffic and
the damn river bridge opening every 30 minutes!!! Disgusting city planning moved by GREED!!!

Anonymous

Balconies are not the cause of an “uninspired design,” seeing the same rinse and repeat designs by Arquitectonica is reason you feel that way.
