75-Story Baccarat Residences Is Rising In Brickell

Brickell’s 75-story Baccarat Residences tower is continuing to rise, a new photo shows.

Baccarat is approved to rise to a height of 848 feet above ground, which is taller than any existing building in Brickell other than Panorama Tower.

A foundation pour took place in August

The development will include 324 tower residences, 8 penthouses and 28 riverfront flats and duplexes.

Glass appears to have already been installed at the riverfront residences.

The residential units at Baccarat were 95% sold, according to an April 2024 press release.

The 45-story Viceroy Brickell, which will include 420 condos, can also be seen in the photo and forms part of the same complex. That tower topped off in January.

Completion of the Baccarat tower is planned for early 2028.

Icon Brickell 2.0

This is so more opulent than Icon Brickell.
For instance, when you step off one of the 8 or so elevators on your floor, you may have a hell of a long walk to your residence.
Not the case in Baccarat.

Icon Brickell is awesome, and it is now 17 years old.

The most egregious backside in Miami rises.

Competes with the 830 Brickell office towers west side exposed unfinished concrete wall from base to roof.

that’s the worst, Miami code approval should never have approved that plan, it’s a huge middle finger to SLS Lux

As if SLS Lux is any better with their pukey parking podium.

pukey podium seems to make perfect pictures from BCC, the tourists like it

So do I.
Fabian Burgos is an amazing artist. No wonder Jorge Perez personally engaged that commission.
Also nice that SLS Lux has such a nice motorcourt where the traffic flows from one street through to Miami Ave.
There are few buildings that do this. Usually, they enter in a semi-circle in and out on the same street.

agree totally. and four seasons is perfect for design of the motorcourt, why don’t more do this type of thing?

I know right, they are complaining about a strip of stucco on the building when most buildings in Miami have exposed 12 story garages

Harry Carey

With the exception of about 14 people who had horribly stupid Realtors, no one in SLS Lux is sad about having an Adrian Smith masterpiece next door.

“masterpiece” with that concrete bs in the middle

Anon

wow, is the whole side of Viceroy really just stucco?

Anon

I assume it’s because the 3rd tower will ultimately block its view, not that it shouldn’t be finished nicely, gonna look cheap

Anonymous

Don’t worry, they will cover it with some “art in public places” mural of Messi frotting with Wade.

Sorry

Both the West and East sides are mostly all stucco. At least the East side *should* get covered by Tower 3 if it ever gets built but the West side is just a shame and wasted nice sunset views smh.

That Viceroy owners with a nice view to a 10-feet-close balcony will just love it. On the other side, they will be facing 500 Brickell. And 500 cars more on that tiny street.

Perfect city planning, Miami.

One would think or HOPE with 858 condos between baccarat & viceroy , Related Group would finish off that EAST FACING WALL. & PAINT the roof of the CAPITAL GRILL building. That building will not be knocked down for 3-4 years . Even then , that site will have 1-2 years of archaeological dig. I hope RELATED proves they have pride ; and won’t cheap out for pennies , relatively speaking.

Won’t cheap out? Two facades are 400′ blank walls.

its related. They will go the cheap route

Harry Carey

Like they did at Apogee?

Anonymous

Related proved they have no pride with Icon Brickell across the street that suffers from similar design flaws, and almost every tower built in the last fifteen years.

thats wishful thinking, related is notorious for bait and switch tactics on most of their buildings.

Miami winning, America winning. Again we have further proof that the Lord has bestowed upon us a multitude of blessings. Deuteronomy 8:18 says, “You shall remember the Lord your God, for it is He who gives you power to get wealth, that He may establish His covenant which He swore to your fathers, as it is this day”. It is clear that America is being lead by a true servant of the Lord!

Same complex… So are they sharing amenities?

ANON

NO NO. VICEROY & Baccarat do NOT share amenities. I believe the baccarat garage may be a shared element ; as well as the baccarat driveway. As the future commercial / restaurant space , supposedly Capital Grill , will be using the driveway & will likely have some spots in the garage. Maybe maybe , Viceroy will have a Back door off their lobby , with an easement to walk along the walkway of Baccarat, to access the river walk. I’m guessing. Especially since Viceroy claims to have river access.

I don’t think there is any winning in just building cereal boxes, with no regard to infrastructure and in this particular case the whole archeological findings debacle, even if was just a tooth from the 1960’s.

You should try building a skyscraper yourself.
IF you can accomplish that, you will have a new appreciation for the level of difficulty in building ANYTHING let alone a skyscraper.

Miami is truly winning! Great development! Sad to see cities like Chicago with such potential getting CRUSHED in new development by Miami.

The only thing Miami is really doing with you folks is losing

Anonymous

Miami is losing? Miami is growing culturally like never before, billionaires, high tech and finance companies are moving here , Miami is building more skyscrapers than any other us city , a total of 70 skyscrapers are planned, several of them are super tall how is that losing?

Chicago wouldn’t put something that would otherwise be a filler on Michigan Avenue and their river, equivalent to this location.

Anonymous

Chicago would n’t put a filler on Michigan Ave ? They already have and they’ve done worst things like letting gang violence destroy most of South Chicago and displace about a million people

lol you’ve never been to chicago, architectural capital (FYI I’m from Miami, not chicago)
