76-Story Brickell Tower Scheduled For UDRB Hearing

A proposal to build a 76-story tower at 1210 Brickell Avenue is scheduled for an Urban development Review Board hearing next week.

Sales for condos are already underway, with the project being marketed under the Ora by Casa Tua  name.

The project is proposed to include:

  • 540 residential units
  • 53,841 square feet of office
  • 24,260 square feet of commercial
  • 955 car parking spaces (including 3 levels of parking underground)

Plans show the total height for the tower is 930 feet above ground.

1210 Brickell, LLC is listed as the developer. Fortune International’s logo is attached to the planning documents.

Arquitectonica is the architect.

The UDRB hearing is scheduled for May 17.

Wow…. They had put out the interior renders, but the exterior ones are stunning!! This tower is going to command the wester skyline, even with all of the new projects around the area! Please build!!!

There are no images of what to expect from Arq on the 4 sided elevations.. they have a bad track record of one sided east facing buildings that only look good in selected pre-marketing material. Then, the finished product looks cheap and non-detailed. (The 500 Brickell, the SLS parking garage, etc) Sorry. It’s their track history of trying to collect too many fees and becoming a factory of concrete.

Arquitectonica is doing a great job in Miami. Congratulations. Beautiful building.

Did you say Hands ?

For this building, yes. The use of greenery and the relative creativity in the design is great, but ARQ also has some less-than-ideal designs.

How come they always add so many trees and lush landscaping overflowing the building – but they rarely add the greenery in the end?

Beautiful podium. Hopefully they keep the greenery in real life

It’s a great looking tower. I like the twisting motion between the two sections and how they interact with each other.

Love how they broke up the massive scale with the outdoor green space in the middle. This style distinguishes Miami from 21st century US cities and improves quality of life and vibe of the city.

Very Arquitectonica. I like that little part that sticks out at the base.

why are postings on TNM about this building so weird, this is the 2nd time they start out showing the exterior renderings, then they get replaced with interior renderings only. Is TNM getting its hand slapped by showing exterior renderings?

Are they connecting the base to the office tower and adding more office ?

Love it.. Aesthetics of the building make everything around it better. Build it as is

Looks great but, that mid level multi story open air floor should have more shear support, of course it’s not required but it should be.

Seriously people, there is not enough room on city streets for all the cars planned for storage. Another 955 stalls? Can you even fit 955 cars in Brickell? Plus the other thousands of stalls already existing or planned? Then someone will inevitably complain about gridlock and traffic. Dios mio.

1k parking spaces? Really? We should be creating shaded bike/walking paths and bus stops. Not filling a beautiful tower with empty car lots.

It’s the developer, not WE.

Keep in mind this is replacing an existing parking garage.

Would be nice to have free busses for everyone in Miami. Like metro mover. And more lines. Maybe a futur solution to get less cars in the streets. 🤙🏼

No such thing as free, Tom. SOMEBODY’S paying for it.

I agree. Our taxes should be invested into free transportation for all. Like we already do with the trolleys. Big companies are relocating in Miami. The city has money. They just need to spend it wisely. We need to improve transportation in Miami.

same goes with roads

I would love it if the most incompetent drivers would get off the streets and ride around in busses. It would be VERY nice.

Maybe the County could replace the trolly system and add a modern street tram from Brickell to Riverside to Calle Ocho to Miracle Mile. Would this help?

Another basic building by Arquitectonica. And by the way, whatever looks half way decent in the renderings, it will not be like that

Anonymous

At least it has curves and not a bald-spot base this time. Almost like work they used to do in the 80s.

first: I’m a resident of the area, not involved with the firms designing these buildings. Calling this a “basic building” is ridiculous, it’s nothing like all the balcony boxes going up near Arsht or in downtown, and the street level stuff and how they wrap the existing building on Brickell looks pretty awesome. You sound hopelessly jaded, what are you looking for, Burj Khalifa on every corner.

Ageee! It’s beautiful. This one and the new Smart Brickell posted yesterday will be amazing additions to Miami. Excited to see these project ago up.
