All Aboard Florida Is Interested In 7-Acre Miami Police Headquarters Property

Could All Aboard Florida take over yet another downtown Miami property?

Executives of the company have expressed interested in the Miami Police Headquarters building at 400 NW Second Ave, a source has told the Herald.

The city-owned property includes several buildings and totals about seven acres. It is about a block away from the company’s under-construction MiamiCentral project.

Miami commissioners voted last week to solicit bids from developers on replacing the aging Police building, including the possibility of leasing or selling all of the land.

All Aboard Florida has also previously expressed interest in replacing the county’s civil courthouse.
