AC Hotel By Marriott Coming To Midtown Miami Area

An AC Hotel by Marriott with 156 rooms is being planned at 3400 Biscayne Boulevard.

Midtown Inn, built in 1953 with 36 rooms, will be demolished to make way for the new hotel.

Next door, a 142-room Hampton Inn and Suites being built by the same developers is nearing completion. It is scheduled to open in September.

Kobi Karp is the architect for both hotels.

I heard that old Midtown Inn is a dump. It’s painted all pink too.

This is a perfect design, brand and use for that property. Well done!

Many years ago I stayed at the Midtown Inn for 2 days while I moved to a new building. Glad to see a new structure going up in its place, it looks great!

At least you’re telling the truth. Hard to get the truth out of anyone nowadays.

Enough with the palm trees already.

Solid design though.
