Developers have filed to build yet another 649 foot tower in Edgewater.
The filing was made with the Federal Aviation Administration on May 17, records show.
According to the filing, the tower will rise 645 feet above ground or 649 feet above sea level, which is the maximum permitted by aviation rules in the area.
The project site is located at the end of 27th Street.
Currently, the property is being used as a sales center for Missoni Baia, among other uses.
The property was formerly owned by the Jesuit Fathers of the Province of the Antilles.
In 2016, OKO Group, the Miami-based development company founded by international real estate developer Vladislav Doronin, along with its partner, Cain International, announced they had purchased the property for $54 million.
OKO and Cain are the developers building Missoni Baia, Una, and 830 Brickell.
