Another Successful Brickell Condo: Nearly All Units Closed At 50-Story Tower In 3 Months

Another Brickell condo tower can be declared a success, with buyers having now closed on nearly every single unit at the newly completed 1010 Brickell condo tower.

Closings began in September. Since then, deeds have been recorded for over 370 of 389 units, with closings continuing yesterday, county records show.

MLS records show that there are about 73 units listed for resale.

The 50-story tower was developed by Key International and 13th Floor Investments. Sieger Suarez is the architect.

In all of Brickell, just two major condo towers remain where sales commenced but closings have not started. The 58-story, 528-unit SLS Lux is sold out and will begin closings soon, while the 65-story, 549-unit Brickell Flatiron is over 70% sold with completion in June 2019.

In my opinion, that is still one of the best looking buildings in Miami.

agree this building i think has always been iconic and associated with Miami, i dont know why it doesnt get the credit it deserves, and i love the antenna reminds of how towers use to be.

With the thumbs down vote I see, it’s apparent some people don’t agree with us Laz.

It doesn’t matter. People were saying Miami had a condo glut back in 2008 and thought that inventory couldn’t be sold, but look happened, not only were they sold, another building boom was started!

Successful for who? The developer or the units owners? Doubtful its the unit owners.

Has anyone here been inside 1010 yet? They marketed lots of really great looking amenities — wondering if it held up in reality vs videos and renderings?

Very nice common areas. The Lobby is super pretty and they have a two floors merged in height, full of amenities. Squash court. Basquetbol court. Golf simulator. Bowling court. An incredible gym and party room, and one super nice pool at the roof of the property overlooking Brickell and the bay. The maintenance is surprisingly very low. The outside does not reflect the inside. One of the nicest buildings in Brickell.

The amenities are very nice. The units I looked at we’re underwhelming considering the price.

With 900 people moving to Florida a day, and even more after the republican tax plan, I’m sure that people would love to buy in a new building.

Not if you have to deal with traffic gridlock for the rest of your life.

What, people like you expect to live in an area with millions of people in it and not expect having to deal with lots of traffic and gridlock?

There are quite a few small towns out there that you do have a choice to live in.
