The FAA has given the go-ahead to the developers of Apeiron, a luxury condo tower planned at the Jockey Club.
In a letter, the agency wrote that the tower can be built at a height of 549 feet above sea level, or 540 feet above ground.
The first phase of the project includes a 41-story tower with 90 hotel rooms and 120 serviced condominiums. A second phase is planned with another 120 condo units.
In December, the developer obtained a $21 million to cover pre-development costs. Backers of the project include former Related exec Muayad “Mo” Abbas, former Ritz Carlton CEO Horst Schulze, and Michael Bedner, outgoing Chairman of HBA International.
