Approved: New Nike Store On Lincoln Road Gets Green Light From Historic Preservation Board

Miami Beach’s Historic Preservation Board yesterday unanimously approved plans for a new Nike store on Lincoln Road.

A building at 1035 Lincoln Road that recently housed a Williams-Sonoma and Pottery Barn will be demolished to make way for Nike’s new store. It is located on the same block where construction of an Apple Store is nearly complete.

Architect Touzet Studio designed the new store to include a rooftop basketball court and running track. The exterior will be clad in ductal concrete, with an LED lighting system.
