Melo taking over

Surprisingly one of the least offensive of the recent Edgewater towers is from Melo.

It’s because it’s high-end. I wonder if Melo is going to build a market rate building on the remaining lots of the block.

I’m expecting a lot more activity around Edgewater and Margaret Pace Park.

building looks really nice from far away…but looks pretty common upon closer examination…lobby area does appear to be luxurious though…hope it offers a higher level of quality than melo is known for

Beautiful Building. I wish he added some water bodies and fountains in the landscaping but the Melo cheaped out there. The shrubs and bushes are very ordinary and diasppointing. The black columns are stunning though. The steps on the biscayne in front of park are exceedingly cheap and shockingly banal and the railings are an embarrasment. The cheap rental next door, Bay Parc did a stunning rennovation which is better than Aria. Since Melo’s Aria is 90% sold out, he doesnt have to impress anyone I guess. But at least maintain some respect. Some celebrities like the Marlin Player and Timbaland paid $6M and $5M for condos there. I hope they demand better landscaping.

drove by and you are so correct…to build a residential luxury residence then as you complete it offer that form of landscaping and finishes on east side of structure just proves no matter what melos fancy brochure illustrates the fact is its in that companies dna to cheap out on important items..if i bought there i would really be disappointed in landscape

The landscaping is fine.. trees and plants were just planted within past week and over the next few weeks and months the plants will fill in and landscaping will be beautiful.

Read again. Its not just landscaping we are talking about. A building of this magnitude could have used some high end features like lit up Waterbodies or Waterfalls or Water Fountains. Also see the steps to the entrance on East side facing the park is a disgrace. This is taking cheap to another level. I hope the buyers fight back and demand something better before closing. After all details like this command better rents and better resale values for owners.
