Auberge Gets Green Light: Sales Launch Within Two Weeks

Reservations for Auberge Residences at 1400 Biscayne will begin within two weeks, brokers for the project say.

Developer Related Group is planning to build a 60-story tower with 328 condos. Units will include 1, 2, 3, and 4 bedrooms.

The project will be distinguished by a “significant” collection of public art. Residents will be offered hotel-like amenities, including maid service, concierge service, a high-end spa, and a restaurant.

Interiors are being designed by Pierro Lissoni.

On the corner of 14th Street and Biscayne, a 40-foot tall sculpture by famed Spanish sculpture Jaume Plensa named “Awilda” will soon be installed, moving from Millenium Park in Chicago. The sculpture will be the signature piece for Auberge, gracing the entrance of the project and ground floor restaurant.

Wasn’t this supposed to be ( 3 ) towers?

Probably multiple phases.

I wouldn’t be surprised if they flat out say that this will be the only tower in the development. If they name the other two towers Icon Biscayne (hence, a separate development), they wouldn’t technically be lying.

In the second rendering, you can see the second tower to the left of the pool. The pool will be located between the first and second tower and then the third tower will be located on the west side of the pool. My guess is that the developer is releasing just this one tower for now in an effort to allow everyone to assume that it will be just one tower but then release Icon Biscayne (technically a separate development) as towers 2 and 3.

They are releasing just one because of the market.

nice project…and while I respect that condo developers need to sell the “sizzle”…I fail to see why related cant display truthful renderings of the surrounding buildings …wheres melody?…school board bldg. etc….the renderings of paraiso bay are similar in fashion….and im hoping the 2nd and 3rd buildings in this project are a little less upscale and maybe pricing could be adjusted to attract locals….even in this less active cycle a building that was 300k-500k in this area would do very well….

Really???

That would be 26 Edgewater. Units seem to be around $300k there.

Context isn’t a part of the modern architect’s vocabulary. It’s all about their building

Great for the neighborhood…heard they are starting at $575 a sft average (on the 25th floor) with amazing views. All units are angled to face Museum Park!

there WILL be more than one tower….related paid over 50 million for the site…..there is a chance the auberge portion could be this tower and a lesser priced parasio bayviews type building under the icon Biscayne banner is planned…stay tuned….

What about that ugly rental apartment building that just got built in the south west corner of that plot of land? Not only is it ugly, but it will block the view for any west facing units.

Also, won’t all the new buildings going up at the old miami herald site block the water views?

Another crappy Related building coming to your neighborhood soon. Sell at $1,000psf and deliver pools and finishes that never work.
