Aventura Park Square Reaches Completion With 1.2M Square Feet

Aventura’s Park Square project is now complete.

The five-tower project includes:

  • 131 luxury condo residences
  • 100,000 square foot Class A office
  • 55,000 square feet of ground-floor retail and restaurant space
  • 45,000-square-foot medical center
  • Luxury senior living tower
  • 207-key Starwood Aloft Hotel

The final Temporary Certificate of Occupancy was issued Friday. All components of the project received a TCO within the past 90 days.

The office and medical space is sold out.

Design was focus on wellness, with features such as extra-wide sidewalks for enhanced walkability, open staircases that support less use of elevators, and the elimination of elevated curbs for greater accessibility. Greenery and tree canopies were incorporated into landscaping to shield sidewalks and enhance walkability.

Retail tenants include Starbucks, Ice Box Café, Graziano’s, Doc B’s, Angelo Elia Pizza Bar, BarTaco, Barry’s Bootcamp and Delicious Raw Kitchen & Juice Bar.

Integra Investments is the developer.  Zyscovich is the architect, with interior design by Steven G.

I love Aventura, but it is designed for cars and there are too many cars on the streets of Aventura. Congestion everywhere, trying to commute to either Downtown Fort Lauderdale or Downtown Miami is a nightmare at rush time. Aventura needs traffic-segregated local transit connecting to a Brightline stop and Tri-Rail.

That stretch along Biscayne is a zoo.

Some sort of transit connecting Hollywood, Hallandale, Aventura, Sunny Isles and North Miami Beach (not North Beach), connecting A1A to Biscayne and making connections with future Brightline Tri-Rail makes waaaay too much sense. Maybe an opportunity for a PPP.

“Design was focus on wellness.”

And then they tell us – “Retail tenants include Starbucks, Ice Box Café, Graziano’s, Doc B’s, Angelo Elia Pizza Bar, BarTaco, Barry’s Bootcamp and Delicious Raw Kitchen & Juice Bar.”

Lol, these people are hilarious!

Went to the check out the development – it sounded like it was going to be similar to Purdy Ave….while some of the same names (and not open yet), there’s not much of a vibe – actually, kind of boring. We were disappointed.

Some of those buildings look alright, specifically the one right on the corner, but some are just plain queasy.

Uh yeah, because you would have designed something really spectacular.
