Balenciaga Opens In Design District With A Storefront Made Of Solar Panels

Balenciaga has opened a new store in the Miami Design District.

The storefront is made of photovoltaic glass, and is said to be the first of its kind worldwide.

Each 10 foot by 5 foot glass panel generates 340 watts of electricity. The blue-tinted glass is also hurricane proof.

Translucent solar glass has a place in architecture. This is a good example of its use. I hope they got an NOA for it.. So we can all use it 🙂 Go Demna!

Great. Another Tombstone of a store in the Design District that no one will shop at after they get there ”Instamoment” pic. At least Balenciaga will save money on this loser with a cheap electric bill. That is of course the windows actually work as advertised. This wouldn’t be the first time the Design District stretched the truth.

Jimmy, who f**ked you over. Was it Craig Robins? …. Was it that snake Dave Grutman? … I know it was DACRA?! While everything you stated has some validity there are better ways of presenting your gripes.
