Bezel Miami Worldcenter Opening Next Week With 434 Apartments

Hundreds of new residents are about to begin moving into downtown Miami’s 43-story Bezel tower at Miami Worldcenter.

According to a leasing office for the building, apartments will be ready for move-ins beginning next week.

Bezel Miami Worldcenter includes 434 rental apartments. New York-based developer Moinian Group has said the building will offer the “highest-end product in the market.”

Groundbreaking took place in April 2019, so completion took less than three years.

Stantec is the project’s architect.

And there’s still a lot of empty lots for expansion.

Initially it was just one LED line at the top and now it goes down the sides for like one floor. So yes maybe they’re still working on that.

Having a wall protrude out around the building to ‘frame’ the building and thus blocking the side views while you’re sitting in your living room! That’s luxury!

I thought the same thing when I read that lol, not the biggest fan of how the design of this building came out.. but still a win for Downtown! Every building can’t be luxury 🤷🏽‍♂️

The rendering had glass balconies all over but they chose metal rails for the side balconies. Not sure why they did that but it looks like a downgrade.

The balconies are glass, not metal.

Balconies are glass on two sides and metal on two sides, they did that beacuse their are always things that have to be VE’d as issued come up. Its normal.

Only Tibor Hollo builds with cheap metal balconies, like the favela on 12 street and brickell bay drive .. the one with the 7-11 store full of shady characters at night 😳

The metromover station was supposed to be complete fall 2021
Based on the photos, it looks like the completion date will be much later.

Are they going to finalize their fire alarm permit before they open?

Seems important.

Really? In what way? Genuinely curious. I live out of state, this article is obviously scant on progress pics, and I have few other ways of finding out. I want to like this project, but they’re not giving me much to work with, lol.

I don’t know why it would take an architect for this?!?!

Not bad for Stantec. Some blank wall, but not too much… At least the windows and balconies are all symmetrical. Hopefully they doesn’t ruin it with some “mural” down the side, or some hideous lights like that blank space at the back of Marquis.
