Brickell’s proposed Wyndham hotel has requested Federal Aviation Administration approval to begin construction.
According to the application submitted last month, the 41-story tower is proposed to rise 480 feet above ground, or 485 feet above sea level.
Construction will begin on January 2, 2019, the application states.
The 445-room hotel will be managed by Wyndham and feature two flags. 200 rooms will be under the high-end Wyndham Grand, with 245 rooms under TRYP by Wyndham, a budget brand.
A rooftop restaurant and bar is also planned.
Arquitectonica is the architect. Brazil’s Galwan is the developer.
