Brightline Pushes Back Miami-Orlando Train Service ‘A Few More Days’

Brightline is once again pushing back the start of its new higher speed rail service from Miami to Orlando.

The earliest tickets now available are for September 22.

The company needs a few more days to complete the final stages of certification and testing, it said.

It is the second delay to the start of service.

Brightline had launched ticket sales on the route in May, with a September 1 start date. At the time, it hinted that service could begin earlier – but that never happened.

Earlier this month, it cancelled reservations for trains between September 1 and September 15.

All the county and city does is spend money study after study so their crooked friends get our tax money. They’ve been studies so much for the test and yet they still fail.

At least they didn’t make the platforms too small like the Miami Airport Station for Amtrak.

miami should not have any opinion about trains or transportation after the giant fiascos of the stations at the airport and downtown, and the lack of vision in our public transportation in general.
