Resorts World Miami has hired broker Comras Company to market retail space at the Omni, where a casino had once been contemplated.
Three ground floor retail spaces totaling about 30,000 square feet are being offered. The Omni mall at the northern part of the property is not being offered.
Resorts World is suing Miami-Dade in the hopes of getting a legal ruling to permit a casino on the property, but a hearing isn’t scheduled until January 2017.
Earlier this week, Resorts World illegally closed Herald Plaza, a public roadway. City records show that the company doesn’t have a permit to close the street, and it was later reopened.
