Canvas Condo On Track To Top Off In Three Months

The 513-unit Canvas condo tower is on track to top off in just three months.

The developer wrote on Facebook last week that construction had reached the 27th floor.

Crews are now adding one level every week, and are on pace to top off in August.

At first wasn’t sure about the design but am actually pleased with progress …subtle curves and glass railings look good… Any idea how many are under contract?

I like this competition between the Related Group and Milo. Now what Miami needs is a few more developers to throw their hat into the ring and maybe then we’ll start seeing these empty lots getting filled in faster.

I will give a trophy to developers like this one , helping to improve areas like this one ….. the project is nice and will inspire more project ahead . I hope he does good here and continue with more in the same area .

The solid-concrete parking pedestal is almost complete! Breathtaking! Artsy and entertainmenty!

Will be a great neighborhood once built up and lighted at night… near everything with paying Brickell prices.

Omni/Arts District will have 6 buildings all almost identical in height within 4 blocks of each other. Will look strange.

Canvas: 37 stories
Square Station: Twin 35 stories
Art Plaza: Twin 36 stories
Miami Plaza: 36 stories

Why is that strange?

I think it would have been better to see some varying heights and depths but regardless, the redevelopment of that area will be incredible. In 4-5 years it will be completely unrecognizable from what it looks like today.

I’m glad there is development in that area but I wouldn’t want to rent there in the first wave. It’s very unsafe. Need to give it a few years.

Exactly what is unsafe about this area? People love to throw that word in when an area is undeveloped or empty. There isn’t anything “dangerous” about this area. There is barely anything there.

Forget him…guarantee this is probably just another person who doesn’t go anywhere anyway because he’s afraid of his own shadow.

It is unsafe because i got robbed right outside of their sales gallery

Case in point. It’s completely unlivable/unwalkable outside the confines of the building CURRENTLY. I agree down the road once things start filling in it could develop nicely. People making these comments obviously haven’t driven through the area at night.

What a liar…if you are the Anonymous person who said “I’m glad there is development in that area but I wouldn’t want to rent there in the first wave. It’s very unsafe. Need to give it a few years” then you are lying about being robbed outside of their sales gallery, because if you did, you mentioned that first.
