37-Story Canvas Getting A Rooftop Lounge

The 37-story Canvas tower, which recently topped off, could be getting a rooftop lounge.

According to a Loopnet listing, the developer is leasing 4,500 square feet of space on the roof. The listing doesn’t specify if it is indoor or outdoor space.

Canvas also has up to six retail spaces on the ground floor, with a combined 10,000 square feet. The asking price is $40 triple net.

Occupancy is March 2018.

Alex Acker and Frank Rodriguez Melo of Cedano Realty Advisors are the listing agents for the retail spaces.

An area map included with the listing also has a rendering of a future project by developer NR Investments, the developer of Canvas (see below).

The rooftop lounge trend may be catching on in Miami. At Brickell City Centre, the recently opened Sugar rooftop lounge has proved particularly popular, with entrance queues the norm on weekend night.
