Your Chance To Brand SkyRise: Berkowitz Offering Sponsorship Opportunities At Controversial Tower

Developer Jeff Berkowitz is selling advertising and sponsorship opportunities at his SkyRise Miami project.

For an unspecified sum, a sponsor will have the ‘opportunity to brand’ the tower, allowing sponsors to place signage throughout the property, among other opportunities up for sale.

Norman Braman joined Raquel Regalado in filing a lawsuit earlier this month seeking to invalidate last year’s referendum approving the ground lease for the tower. Braman argues that the ballot language stated that the project would be ‘privately funded’, but Berkowitz lobbied for (and got approved for) county funding.

SkyRise recently added a webcam to their website, allowing viewers to watch construction in real-time.

It is so obvious this is going to end up being another Marlins stadium debacle. And berkowitz will be laughing at the citizens just like Loria and Samson do.

This Babylon will NEVER be built.

Unless this will be 100% publicly funded, yet privately owned, there is no chance this is anything like the Marlins.

But think what you want. I think it’s an incredible design and am looking forward to its completion.

It’s interesting that people constantly complain about boring old repeated designs on buildings downtown, and then one of the most unique buildings to be proposed is poo-pooed on by many of you. Weird.

Mark your words, because the developer has already started sucking at the public teat and once they get a taste of taxpayers money these pigs can’t stop sucking.

You must have had something to do with the design. This massive money clip is a terrible design. The only ones who think ugly babies are cute are the parents.

This project, like so many which are planned for the future of the City of Miami, will continue to create jobs and increase tourism, which creates an additional tax base, which will create additional jobs.
Jobs are good for the future of Miami.

Jobs are great for Miami and this project will create jobs for the residents of Miami and it will increase tourism dollars, which will increase our tax base, which will create funds to create more benefits to the residents and increase jobs.
