City Hall Restaurant Closes At 2000 Biscayne, Where ‘Iconic’ Tower Is Planned

The City Hall restaurant has closed in Edgewater, after plans were revealed last year to replace it with a luxury residential tower.

Verzasca Group is said to have the property in contract. They have previously said that they intend to build an iconic tower designed by a world-renowned architect on the property, located at 2000 Biscayne Boulevard.

Last year, plans were submitted for a 649-foot tower on the site – the tallest permitted in the area. The 60-story tower is expected to include 405 units.
