Voter Referendum On Hyatt Redevelopment Could Be Coming In November

Miami voters could decide in November on a deal with Hyatt Equities to redevelop the James L. Knight convention center and attached Hyatt Regency.

According to a Memorandum of Understanding between Hyatt and the city, the redevelopment could include residential, office, retail, and/or parking, designed to maximize the usage of the site.

Commissioners are scheduled to decide next week whether to send the deal to voters.
