Cladding Installed At Gateway At Wynwood, Where Barry’s Is Considering Opening HQ Office

Contractors have installed garage cladding depicting a vibrant mural at the Gateway At Wynwood office building, where construction is nearly complete.

The development was recently toured by executives from Barry’s (formerly known as Barry’s Bootcamp), according to Commercial Observer. The company is relocating its headquarters to Miami and is searching for 10,000 square feet of office space.

Biotech company Veru Inc. has already signed an eight-year, 12,155-square-foot lease in the building for its global headquarters.

The Gateway at Wynwood includes about 195,000 square feet of leasable Class A office space and nearly 25,900 square feet of ground floor retail space on the border of Wynwood and Midtown.

There are also 574 parking spaces.

Architect Kobi Karp designed the 12-story project.

R&B Realty Group is the developer.

They don’t want to pay the money to have it don this has been a HUGE conversation, as forth who should pay for it. Th Wynwood BID or (what ever Wynwood community group) tried to have Mana pay fr i when he gets presented his development plans. But so many projects has been built since. We need a update on this subject.

I agree, it’s such a minor yet loud detail of the neighborhood. I have no idea why a development this beautiful/expensive would go up without the thought of burying the lines especially when new roads and landscaping are installed.

I think there is a larger Wynwood streetscape plan that is in the works – the designs have been displayed on this site – I’m not sure at what stage that is in though or if its even happening

Because it was expensive af and the infrastructure requires lines to be buried almost a block or 2 beyond the site. Makes no economical sense for a developer who knows the city (taxes) will eventually bury lines themselves anyways

No. They’re 5’8” higher. The windows are right at desk height and the bay windows can be an extension of your desk with panoramic Miami views

This is a great project in a perfect location, with mono rail coming in a few years and the constant development of mid town and Wynwood this will be a success! Plus I like the design looks like the renderings

This building looks like crap! Like something out of the 80s… Then they use straight glass panels at the curves, if you can’t afford curved glass then don’t do curves. Another bad one for Wynwood, good job WDRC!
