Claim: Chinese May Be Looking To Sell Brickell Property

Chinese developers may be looking to sell in Brickell, according to The Real Deal.

In December 2014, China City Construction paid $74.74 million for the former Capital at Brickell site at 1430 South Miami Avenue.

In 2015, Chun Wo Holdings Company Limited purchased 45% stake in the property for $40 million. Chun Wo was later renamed and is now known as Asia Allied Infrastructure Holdings.

Last month, publicist Seth Gordon told The Real Deal that he had received “vibrations” that “the intention is to offload the Brickell property.” Gordon once represented American Da Tang Group chief Shanjie Li, who left the Brickell deal “a while ago.”

Florida records show that the LLC controlling property continues to be managed by Haibo Pan, as it has since it was formed. Pan’s office was changed to a new address in Brickell this year, according to a corporate filing.
