Should be renamed West Brickell 10. Anything west of the metrorail is West Brickell. Sorry developers.

The metrorail is only a minor visual division though, “brickell proper” is still easily accessible by foot and bike. If the West Brickell name actually helped keep prices in line with the buildings finishes I’d be more inclined to agree.

I’d go further and say everything west of SE 1st Avenue/Miami Avenue is West Brickell. It used to be called Southside spanning to SW 8th Avenue before I-95 cut the neighborhood in half, and Brickell was a separate plat designated by the aforementioned borders. Developers are calling Southside west of I-95, Conch Hill to SW 12th Avenue and even beyond within the Little Havana area “West Brickell.”

Nope. Mary Brickell Village, Millescento, Brickell City Centre, SLS and many more, are definitely very, very, Brickell…

Two blocks too far to walk?

Is two blocks to far to walk to the western most edge of Brickell? Probably not. Just be mindful of the roosters. It’s two blocks to walk to Little Havana from here too. Neighbor is an Ace Hardware store. Cheers.
