Colorful 16 Allapattah Approved By Urban Development Review Board, Will Include 323 Residential Units

A proposed residential building called 16 Allapattah will feature a colorful design, recently submitted plans show.

The 12-story project is planned to include 323 residential units, 13,133 square feet of retail, and 336 parking spaces. Five zoning waivers have been requested.

Miami’s Urban Development Review Board voted last month to recommend approval of the project, according to Miami Today.

Behar Font & Partners designed the project. Architect Robert Behar is a board member, and is also a principal of the firm.

TCG Allapattah 16 LLC, managed by Lissette Calderon, is the contract purchaser and developer. Calderon is also developing another project nearby called Allapattah 17, which just received a construction loan.

The company will also be buying an additional 71 units of development rights through the Transfer of Development Density program.
