Construction Begins Today On Ft. Lauderdale Tower That Will House Two Hotels (Updated)

Work at the site of a 24-story tower in Fort Lauderdale is set to begin today, according to the Sun Sentinel.

When completed, the tower will include two separate Starwood hotel brands.

Guests of both hotels will enter through the same ground floor entrance. a seventh floor lobby will have check in desks for both the 209-room The Dalmar (part of Starwood’s Tribute brand), and the 114-room Element hotel.

There will also be shared amenities, including a 24th floor pool deck and bar.

The ground level will include 12,000 square feet of retail, with 206 parking spaces above.

Completion is expected in the second quarter of 2018 after 18 months of construction.

Wurzak Hotel Group is the developer. Michael Silverman of Comras Company is handling retail leasing.

Beautiful project….I love how they combined , retail ,hotel and residential……That makes the cities more city…..
