A tower crane has been installed at the 3050 Aventura construction site, according to a tweet from @30kmillionMIA.
Demolition of the former Safra Bank building at the site began in fall 2021.
Foster + Partners is designing the tower in the form of two interlocking pyramids, according the construction manager Square Edge Inc. Locally-based ODP is serving as the architect of record.
The project includes 3 levels of basement.
It will have an all-glass façade rising 12 stories above ground, or around 237 feet.
3050 Aventura will serve as a future branch for Safra Bank, according to the bank’s website. An affiliate of Safra Bank is the developer.
